Traditions

We've had a tradition in our family for more than 10 years that started as a way to have a little "calm" before Christmas, dress up "our" little girl (first grandchild/girl), & teach her some of the "finer ways" at a table...  So began the now annual Christmas Eve Day Tea.
We started with the three of us, then added another little girl, & this year added another "girl"...

The two little girls have turned into young ladies and the new young lady is my daughter-in-love...

Pretty cool to have another "blonde" in the family.... Except hers really is a beautiful blonde! But we are both natural...
 We had to take two separate pictures because this is a girls-only time and all males have to be out of the house!
What a blessing to have all my family together this year and to welcome another "girl" to our Christmas Tea!

An "Infamous Day"

Thirty nine years ago today I took on a new title... one of the most important titles a woman can have:


MOM!

What a day of rejoicing!  That beautiful little girl has brought so much joy into our lives!  We thank God for the many wonderful memories we have that all began on this "infamous day."
