One of the most obvious traditions for most Americans on Thanksgiving...
This year we "switched it up a bit", having the traditional turkey (served ala Bobby Flay) but with roasted vegetables instead of sweet potato casserole.
Weather permitting, we always take a long walk after dinner... and this year the weather certainly was permitting!
We added a new family member this year....!!!! We are so blessed to have a new daughter-in-love!
Our "walk" is not just for exercise or even just for tradition... It's always a photo op!
And we take advantage of
every photo opportunity that comes along the way.
Though it looks like the dog is about to play "fetch", there is a little guy waiting to receive the ball down the hill... & this little 7 year old can
really throw the ball!
The view at day's end reminds us
to Whom we are really thankful... Who but our Mighty Creator God could "paint" such a beautiful picture?!
