Time to strut his stuff... A day on the beach this time of year is like watching Nat'l. Geographic in person! These birds do loud calls to each other, then the male continues his loud call while the female "coos"; then the action begins & the male loudly calls out while he performs his romance. Afterwards the female casually walks down to the water's edge & life goes on...
More than you ever wanted to know about the mating process of seagulls, huh?

Those pictures, along with your story line, are hilarious! It looks like you've had a wonderful time at the beach and you've certainly got me itching for some 'beach time' too.
I love sitting and watching God's Creation do their thing! :)
