God's Grace

This has been the hottest summer on record for many parts of the country, including NC.  Having a wedding in August, nearly guarantees that it will be hot, & the chapel that the bride & groom had chosen is very old... which meant "limited" AC.
And they wanted the rehearsal dinner at our house... outside!
But we had rain last Thursday, & the weather finally broke on Friday, including lower humidity.  What an answer to prayer!

The bride has been fighting allergies since early July, trying everything she could, including two rounds of antibiotics.  When she arrived on Wed., she was so congested & having to "blow" so often that her nose was red as if she had a very bad cold.  Since trees & plants are her two biggest allergies, NC would only add to them.  But, we had rain on Thur.!
So although she still was struggling some on Sat. AM...

(as she had her hair done...)

by wedding time, she was clearing up enough that she didn't have to "deal with it" during the ceremony.
Another example of God's grace in answering our prayers!

It is always so neat to see how God takes care of the smallest of details and the largest of concerns. :)
